For many, the Canada day long weekend is the first real weekend of the summer! With an extra day and (fingers crossed) beautiful weather, this weekend should be a blast! To the Lake!

Pack the car, round up your friends and family and head to the lake! If you’re looking for a way to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city, this might be the perfect option for you. Grab your book, favourite sunnies and bathing suit and hit the road!

Find a Fireworks Show!

There’s no better way to celebrate Canada’s birthday than a fireworks show! Check out your local shows or head to the city for a show that’s sure to wow. Keep in mind that most fireworks will start at dusk, so plan your day in advance and go early to get the best spot in the house. 

Have a Picnic in a Park!

With the sunny and long days ahead, this weekend is a perfect time to pack up some snacks, walk to your favourite park and just enjoy the weather! Don’t forget a soft blanket, refreshing drinks and of course, your favourite SimplyProtein® snacks!
