Jumping Into Spring!

Spring has finally sprung! Which thankfully means the long and dreary winter days are (hopefully) behind us. If you’re like us, springtime gives us renewed energy and a fresh perspective! Some of our favourite ‘spring things’ aren’t big changes, but they leave us feeling fresh and renewed.  

Brighten things up with some plants!

Whether you have a green thumb or are an apartment dweller with a few half living plants, spring is the perfect time to freshen them up and add to your collection! Not only are plants great for the air you breathe, but they are a perfect way to add a pop of colour! Our suggestion for an easy to care for plant would be a succulent! If you’re looking to brighten your space up, tulips are the perfect colourful flower, which are currently in season!

Clean out that closet!

The bulky sweaters and heavy boots can finally be cleared out of the closet! Time to make way for your spring wardrobe, which may also mean clearing some winter pieces out. One way to see if all your clothes are being put to good use, is the hanger test! At the beginning of the season, face all your hangers the same way, once you’ve worn a certain item, flip the hanger to face the other way! If you still have clothes that are facing the original way, it might be time to donate.

Whether you’re making big changes or just tweaking a routine, a change of season is the perfect time to put those actions into practice. Happy spring!
