New Year, New Goals!

The holiday season has finally come to a close. Which usually means its time to get back on track and start the ‘new year, new you’ mentality. Although this mantra means well, we think you crushed your 2018 goals, and that’s something to celebrate. We want you to build off those amazing accomplishments and continue those goals in 2019!

One of our goals is to make our routine a little simpler, and we’ve come up with 5 tips to help!

1. Set one goal every week

Set your intentions every week and have one goal you want to accomplish! They can be as big or small as you want them to be, like getting to that workout class you’ve been wanting to try or only snoozing your alarm once in the morning (although this may be a big goal.. ;)).

2. Make a list for grocery shopping

Ever find yourself wandering the grocery aisles grabbing items aimlessly? Well we certainly do. Not only do we put groceries in our cart that we don’t normally buy, but we also waste food and money when we don’t eat them. We’re taking it old school and writing it all down on a list. Whether it’s on your phone or on paper, writing down and crossing off exactly what you need, is the perfect way to reduce your waste and increase the size of your wallet.

3. Meal prep

Although this may sound daunting, meal prepping is the most effective way to simplify your routine. Carve out a time to prep your lunches for the week, to not only save time but also money!

4. Create a nightly routine

Mornings can be tough. Whether you’re sprinting out the door trying to catch a train or bundling up for a chilly walk, anything to simplify your time is a must. Creating a short nightly routine of getting your things together for the morning is the perfect way to save a few extra precious minutes during those busy times. Set out your clothes the night before and pre-pack your lunch and snacks to ensure you won’t forget anything, especially that yummy SimplyProtein® snack!

5. Unwind

Since you’ve prepped and cooked and prepped again, you’ll have some time to yourself. Keeping a healthy routine, means keeping your whole body healthy. Whether it is a yoga class, a bath or simply putting your feet up at the end of the day, you should take some much-needed time for yourself, you are always worth it!
